Australia’s online circular economy community
Can you believe over the last 4 years we have grown to a community of 2,400! We have received incredible feedback and support from you. Thank you.
To keep this amazing community thriving, we are seeking donations.
In Australia donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Here's how it works:
Tax deductibility: Donations to charities, such as Planet Ark and its ACE Hub Portal, that are registered as Deductible Gift Recipients (DGRs) can be claimed as tax deductions.
Claiming the deduction: You can claim the donation amount on your tax return, reducing your taxable income by the amount donated.
Benefit to the taxpayer: The actual benefit depends on your marginal tax rate. For instance, if your marginal tax rate is 32.5%, you get back 32.5 cents for every dollar donated.
The circular economy calls for a system-wide redesign of the way we produce and consume stuff. This will only be possible if every player in the system works together, from governments and industries through to individual business owners and consumers. The skill and creativity of the research community will be critical, along with educators to pass on new ways of thinking and working to the next generation. To fast-track this transition, we've created an online platform to bring these groups together to exchange ideas, share projects and ultimately take action.
The ACE Hub Portal is the online community guiding Australia's circular economy. It is a place to share circular initiatives, learn from others, break out of your industry bubble and drive change together. With an active membership of circular economy experts and users from government, industry, business, academia, education and the community, the Portal represents the full suite of circular activity taking place in Australia.
On the Portal you’ll find like-minded people and organisations, healthy debate, regular networking events and much more. Become a member to:
