The first three years of the Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub) have been exciting and busy! What we have seen over this time is the shift from raising awareness and providing inspiration to a need for education and action on circular practices. The ACE Hub Strategy 2024-2026 addresses this need to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Australia and the APAC region.

The 2020 Circularity Gap Report, a global assessment of circular economy progress, states the world is currently just 8.6 per cent circular. This is despite the significant benefits a circular economy represents: potentially $210 billion in present value to Australia's GDP alone by 2048.
Our ambition is that the Australian Circular Economy Hub (ACE Hub) will play a key role in realising this opportunity, and this Strategic Plan, along with the Work Plan developed from it, will be our guiding mechanism.
Over the next three years, the ACE Hub is committed to facilitating and accelerating the transition to a circular economy in Australia. This Strategic Action Plan outlines our strategic pillars for the coming years.
